How can i clear more space on my laptop to download google chrome?

i have a dell mini laptop. i am constantly struggling with running out of space. i only had 20mb of free space. but i was having internet problems with google chrome. i uninstalled google chorme, planning to reinstall it. but after i uninstalled it i only had 28mb of free space and didnt have enough space to re install. any ideas?|||use an external hard drive to expand your space|||You need to delete things that you dont need, that is your only option
